Aldridge-Brownhills Conservative Future were delighted to welcome Mr Alberto Costa,( Parliamentary candidate for Angus in 2010) to their meeting on Friday 28th March.Mr Costa spoke on ‘The Future of Great Britain – The Scottish Referendum and How it affects you’. Alberto was raised and educated in Glasgow and is one of the few Conservatives in the South who fully understands and appreciates the need for continuing unity with the United Kingdom and the implications that Independance could have.
Conservative Future Chairman Mr Tyler Hayes-Burke said this had been a unique opportunity to hear the views from an experienced campaigner for Scotland and obtain a clearer understanding of the issues at hand and is not to be missed.The meeting was held at Aldridge Conservative Club and attended by Conservative Future members from Walsall and Birmingham. As the meeting was an open meeting older members were also welcomed and interested was shown by many in getting involved in the cross party campaign for a no vote in the coming referendum.Details of the campaign are available from the websites, bettertogether.net and at blethertogether.net
The evening closed with a buffet supper provided by Aldridge-Brownhills Conservative Future.
